Checking the document to be notarised.

The notary will sign the document & apply the notary seal.

STAGE 4

Payment of Notary.scot costs.

Notary.scot certifying copy of an original document
  • The notary must see the original document(s).
  • Please have copies available for signing by the notary.
  • The notary will insert “certified a true copy of the original document”
  • The notary will sign & seal the document.

Notary.scot signing an affidavit, declaration, certificate, attorney form etc  
  • The notary will read the document to establish what notarisation is required.
  • You will sign the document in the presence of the notary.
  • The notary will sign & seal the document .

Remote video notary.scot service
  • Using WhatsApp, Facetime, Zoom, Teams etc.
  • Notary.scot will record film of you signing the document remotely.
  • Document to be posted to the notary for notary signing.
  • Notarised document returned to you by post.

  • Submitting notarised document to FCO or Consul.
  • FCO or Consul charges are additional.
